Read the letters with great interest. I know almost all the persons referred to or written of and learned many interesting details of Casavant organs that I'd previously not been aware of.
I was most interested to see evidence of Mr. Stoot's claim to have invented the Casavant roller action for keys.

What an *** tribute to your father and his lifetime love of the organ! It is so
interesting and heartwarming to read the letters of Fred Hall, my neighbour for several
years growing up as a child, and to appreciate his sense of honour and sense of humour
now that I am grown up. It was a different way of life back then, and a lovely place in
time to visit. Thank you for the tremendous amount of work you have put into this
website and for sharing it with the likes of me! This site is a treasure, as are you!
